The Curious-On-Hudson Intro to Music Production Course is an intensive first-step into the world of computer music-making/ recording. Singer-songwriters, classical instrumentalists, garage rock-bands, film music composers, hiphop producers, and all other musicians need the ability to document their music-making in order to grow. Further, music production is a highly useful skill for any creative person. In this course, students will learn to navigate a Digital Audio Workstation “DAW” and several common types of sub-programs— “Plug-ins”. They will use these programs for “live" instrument recording, audio sampling, after-recording audio editing, and midi/ virtual instrument music production.
